A Game of Tag!

Thanks to Amber at Down The Rabbit Hole and Daisy at Between The Pages for tagging me!

Rules of the game:
  •  Accept the tag and link to the tagger at the beginning of your post.
  • Answer the questions honestly in your post by listing four things.
  •  Pass on the love by picking four other people to tag and listing them at the bottom of your post. Notify them that you tagged them.

4 Things That Are In My Handbag:

- My wallet
- Lots of old bus tickets I should really get rid of
- Ibuprofen
- Hair elastics

4 Things On My Desk: (For me, this question should be, What is not on my desk? Or maybe, Where is my desk under all that stuff? But I will limit myself to four items.)

- A potpourri burner
- A mug with a picture of Jane Austen and the quote, “Follies and nonsense, whims and inconsistencies, do divert me I own, and I laugh at them whenever I can.”
- Tons of spare change
- A set of oil pastels

4 Favorite Things In My Bedroom:

- My books (these take up a sizeable portion of my bedroom)
- My “Quatchi” mascot for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics (if you are unfamiliar with the cuteness of Quatchi (a sasquatch), click here)
- My dolphin collection (I collect dolphin statues made of wood, stone, glass, etc.)
- The aforementioned Jane Austen mug, which I bought at the Jane Austen house in England.

4 Things I've Always Wanted To Do (but haven't yet):

- Travel to New Zealand and India
- Swim with dolphins (I know, it's cheesy, but dolphins are my favorite animal)
- Record and sell an album of my songs
- Publish my own book

4 Things I Enjoy Very Much At The Moment
:

- Blogging about books and meeting other book lovers!
- Singing, playing guitar and writing songs
- Reading (of course)
- Autumn (leaves changing colour, the feeling of fall and anticipating pumpkin pie!)

4 Songs I Can't Get Out Of My Head:

- The Day Before You Came by ABBA (I just found out about this song the other day, it is really beautiful)
- Between the Lines by Sara Bareilles
- Need You Now by Lady Antebellum
- My Heart Belongs to You by Hayley Westenra

4 Things You Don't Know About Me
:

- I was born on the prairies in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
- I’ve never broken any bones.
- My teeth are cavity-free.
- On a trip to Italy, my family found ourselves on a clothing-optional beach and had a “revealing” encounter with an Italian male exhibitionist.

4 Bloggers I'm Tagging:

Casey at The Bookish Type
Stephanie at Books Are A Girl’s Best Friend
Liz at Midnight Bloom Reads
Liz at Planet Print

You're it!

  1. Hi there,
My name is Kelly, and I originally tagged Daisy for this game. I was just browsing for new blogs to follow. I like yours a lot. YA is fantastic, I can't get enough! Also, we have two things in common no broken bones and cavity free haha go us!
Anyway I just started a blog and if you have any free time I'd love for you to come visit. It's got some YA in it ;)

  3. Oh cool! I've been tagged!
I've been to Italy too but we didn't go a beach like the one you must have gone to because it wasn't quite so 'revealing', lol. I think I would have been shocked first and turn red out of embarrassment or something... :)

  4. We went to Italy during the Summer last year as part of a tour across Western Europe. We stayed in Venice (well, on the island just across from it anyways), Rome, and Florence, and we even passed nearby Lake Como when on the tour bus ride on the way to Switzerland (I only remember because the water looked so gorgeous). A lot of sitting on the bus when driving around, but it was like the best vacation ever! :)

  5. Hmm... other countries during that trip... ? We started in England, and then made our way to Belgium, Austria, Germany, Italy, Vatican City, Switzerland, and then France. We were there for like just over two and a half weeks, so we're always on the go somewhere during the tour... in each place for a few days only, but it was still so much fun to see new cultures and the beautiful architecture!
