Time Between Us: Get It... or Forget It?

This is a new feature I'm starting up, because as book bloggers we all know that there are too many books to read, and not enough time. I need to know which books are must-reads and which ones I can just plain ignore.

For which I turn to you, my readers! I'll pick a book each week that I'm wondering about, and you can tell me if I should GET IT...or just FORGET IT.
This week: Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone

This one kinda sounds like the movie The Lake House for a YA audience. I enjoyed that film, and I tend to like time travel in books, so this one certainly caught my eye. I'd just like to know... does it really deliver on that awesome-sounding premise? I'm a bit worried it'll be too romance-heavy and not enough substance. Is this a case of insta-love...?

Vote! What do you think: get it, or forget it? And then leave a comment letting me know why!

This week: Prized by Caragh M. O'Brien

I read and enjoyed the first book in the series, Birthmarked, but I've seen some things suggesting the follow-up books are not as good. Were you disappointed about how this series turned out? Or do you think it's worth it to continue with Prized

Touch of Power: Get It... or Forget It?

This week: Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder

I loved Poison Study, but was not particularly gripped by the other two in the series (in fact, I think I just skimmed them). What I've read about Snyder's Healer series suggests that it also goes downhill somewhat after the first book. So I'm wondering: is the first book worth getting, in and of itself? Or does it just set up for a series that will ultimately be disappointing and unsatisfying? I'd love some more Poison Study-esque magic in my life, but don't want to end up feeling like I've wasted my time and/or money...

This week: Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge

I'm a big fan of fairy tales, and one of my favourites is Beauty and the Beast, so this one has certainly been on my radar. However, I know some readers have been a bit disappointed by Cruel Beauty. So I leave it to you guys: what do you think? Get it, or forget it?

Vote, and then tell me why in the comments!

Tsarina: Get It... or Forget It?

This is a new feature I'm starting up, because as book bloggers we all know that there are too many books to read, and not enough time. I need to know which books are must-reads and which ones I can just plain ignore.

This week: Tsarina by J. Nelle Patrick

Not gonna lie, part of my interest in this one is just for that spectacular cover. But I also like the idea of a storyline involving a Faberge egg! However, I've heard that this book plays fast and loose with actual historical fact. So I welcome your input: get it, or forget it? Vote!

If you think I should get it, let me know: buy from the bookstore or just order from the library? And if I should forget it...why?
