It's Monday, What Are You Reading? (4)

This meme is hosted by Sheila of Book Journey and showcases the books we recently read, are currently reading, and are planning on reading soon!

All right, so this past week I read and reviewed The Dark Divine by Bree Despain and Beautiful Creatures by Kami Gracia & Margaret Stohl (links go to reviews).

I am still working on Dickens' Little Dorrit (that one will be a while, I can tell) and have now started Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen, which I am enjoying thus far.

Up next? Not sure yet. I've got several out from the library I haven't read or finished reading yet, including The Red Necklace by Sally Gardner, Mariah Mundi: The Midas Box by G. P. Taylor, and Story Time by Edward Bloor.

And, The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa and Stolen by Lucy Christopher are waiting for me at the library, so I will have to pick them up as soon as possible! Once I get my hands on those they will definitely be my top priority (so Dickens will once again be put aside).

What are you reading?

  1. I have not heard of these so I will be doing a bit of research. Have a fabulous week reading. My Monday can be found here:

  2. I've heard of Garden Spells. Iron Daughter is on my wishlist. My reads are here

  3. I love all of Sarah Addison Allen's book. I really like the casual acceptance of magic as a fact of life in them.

  4. I was interested in your review of Beautiful Creatures, but I couldn't go past the first paragraph due to the spoilers!! : )
Maybe I'll just pick up a copy and give it a try.

  5. Your library has The Iron Daughter already, it takes months for my library to get the new releases in. Also Stolen sounds like a really emotional read and its on my to read list so hope you enjoy it.

  6. I really have my eye on Stolen. Enjoy your reading this week :D

  7. It's hard to read classics when new YA books are being published all the time! I just finished Vampire Academy and loved it and am eagerly awaiting the release of Mockingjay! :)

I love comments, so post away!
