In My Mailbox (21)

In this meme, hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, we share the books we've received, bought or taken out from the library. I didn't do an IMM last week so this'll cover the past two weeks.

Memento Nora by Angie Smibert (as part of A Cornucopia of Dystopia)
Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting (thanks HarperTeen!)

Bumped by Megan McCafferty (as part of A Cornucopia of Dystopia)
Purple Daze by Sherry Shahan (from the author for review - thanks Sherry/Running Press!) I'll be using this one for my Read Outside Your Comfort Zone Challenge, since it's a novel in verse.

I also went to Chapters this week and could not resist a couple of their sale books. Come on, $5 for a hardcover? Can't get much better than that.

Devil's Kiss by Sarwat Chadda
Rampant by Diana Peterfreund

And I haven't gotten much from the library over the past couple weeks, but one book did come in for me:
Unearthly by Cynthia Hand

So I'm definitely set for reading for the next little while!

    Ooh, I've been wanting to read Rampant for ages! The cover is so cool. Plus, Unearthly and Desires of the Dead looks awesome too. I have a lot of good things about Bumped as well - happy reading :).

    Ooh I really liked Desires of the Dead, the series is just amazing. $5 hardcovers?? I should visit my local chapters more often, seems I'm missing out on great deals! Happy reading :]

    I'm so interested in reading Memento Nora now. Based on all the reviews I've read it sounds fantastic. Yay for Rampant!! The only thing better than killer unicorns is killer unicorn slayers.

    And, because I can't help myself, WTH was your library thinking with that barcode placement?!?! Ok, *breathe* I hope you enjoy Unearthly. :)

    I *really* enjoyed Unearthly ~ enough to purchase my own copy ~ hope you do too! (And LOL about the barcode placement. Tragic...)

    And I'm kinda curious about Memento Nora...

    How could the library paste the barcode right over the persons face? Ridiculous! I had rented Devil's Kiss but never got around to it. Hope you like your books!
