Kiss, Marry, Kill: Much Ado About Nothing

I'm trying this out as a regular feature. Here's how it works: you take a book, choose 3 guy characters from the book, and then the other person has to pick one to kiss, one to marry, and one to kill.

This week, it's Much Ado About Nothing. Okay, it's a play, but I'm counting it, since it's one of my favourite Shakespearean comedies. And if you haven't seen the film version yet...what are you still doing here? Go watch it!

The choices:

1.) Claudio

2.) Benedick

3.) Don Pedro

So, who do you kiss, who do you marry, and who do you kill? And as always, if you'd like to do your own, feel free to mention it in the comments or leave a link to your post there :)

  1. Marry Benedick (he'll keep me laughing), kiss Don Pedro (especially if he looks like Denzel), and kill Claudio (that's actually a line from the play, AND he's kind of a simpering idiot anyway.

  2. Kiss # 1, Marry# 3 and take out # 2 lol

  3. @Eve Marie Mont: Haha, love that you included a line from the play!

    @Keisha: Awww, you'd kill poor Benedick? :D

  4. I have sort of a soft spot for Dogberry (even though Michael Keaton's portrayal is greasy and disgusting... but it makes me laugh every time). Not sure if I'd want to kiss or marry him, though.

    I think I'd kiss the Friar (for keeping a cool head when everyone else was being stupid); marry Benedick (because he's witty and funny and awesome); and kill Don John (for starting the whole mess) or Claudio (for having so little faith in his beloved).

  5. Marry Benedick for sure. Cue hilarious and possibly brief marriage.

    Kiss Don Pedro. He's hot AND he's not a wimp.

    Kill Claudio. The wimp that won't even trust his chaste, faithful, beautiful bride-to-be. At least Benedick is open about his misogyny.
